This year’s Guernsey Air Display will again take place in the evening.

Last year, the annual event switched from a lunchtime performance to an evening slot, allowing more people to enjoy it. The event will take place on Wednesday 9 September, beginning at 6.30pm.

‘The feedback we had last year from locals has been so positive with individuals telling us it was the first time they had been able to watch the display in years, families who had never been able to watch the display together, and hospitality businesses in St Peter Port reporting a boost in their midweek takings,’ said organiser Natalie Davidson.

‘We are thrilled that islanders and tourists enjoyed the new evening display last year and as a result, we are looking forward to working to this timing again for 2026,’ said flying display director Barry Neal.

The evening time allowed for a pyrotechnics display for the first time last year, and a food village was also set up on the Crown Pier.

Organisers are currently working to confirm this year’s line-up.

The Guernsey Air Display relies heavily on the support of the local business community to fund the event, alongside a grant and an underwriting commitment from the States.
