Support group established after sell-out Covid injury conference

After its sell-out ‘Healing Beyond Covid’ conference, the Guernsey Covid Vaccine Injury Community has established itself as the island’s official support group.

The not-for-profit group, which was developed by a few like-minded islanders, gained significant traction through the various, initial meetings it held locally over the past year.

It has welcomed people who felt they had been adversely affected by the Covid vaccine, and received high turnouts at each event.

Most recently, its major two-day conference at St Pierre Park Hotel earlier this month, where international speakers came to tackle subjects on cancer protocols, treatment innovations for vaccine injuries and spike-related illness, was a sell-out, with all 350 tickets taken, plus a large number of extra admissions granted on the day.

Taking this as evidence of the local need for support, the group has established itself online, with the primary aim of helping people connect with others and share their experiences.

‘We will continue to hold meetings whenever we can arrange for interesting speakers or integrated health practitioners to support our members,’ said one of the group’s organisers, Jo Robinson.

‘We are limited by lack of funding and also that many people are isolated at home, and too unwell to come out. But these are the barriers we are looking to overcome and which we feel should be supported by the States Health & Social Care Committee in the first instance.

'We will work with other organisations locally and overseas to share ideas and solutions.’
