The Scrutiny panel wants to know more about the plans and progress being made by the Housing Committee, which was only created at the end of the previous political term and is being led by former Guernsey Housing Association chief executive Steve Williams.

‘Housing was arguably the number one issue in last year’s election, and this term has seen the re-establishment of a Housing Committee,’ said Scrutiny president Deputy Andy Sloan, who will lead the panel alongside Deputies Liam McKenna and Haley Camp.

‘Nine months into the term, we thought it was an appropriate juncture to review progress but more particularly assess the committee’s plans for the rest of this term to resolve Guernsey’s known housing issues.’

The session is open to the public from 2-4pm at the Castel Douzaine Room, Les Beaucamps. It will also be broadcast live on YouTube.
