All-In will run from 1 October to 12 November and represents the most ambitious collective action on artificial intelligence that the island has ever undertaken, bringing together industry leaders, employees, charities and the wider community in a structured programme of workshops.
The development is a direct response to the recommendations of the Oliver Wyman report on the future of the island’s financial services sector, with the intent to upskill the wider population, quickly and practically.
PwC, whose research has been instrumental in framing the scale of this challenge, will act as a lead collaborator with the G8 group of business organisations.

All-In has been deliberately designed for all sectors and all levels of experience – not just tech specialists. The programme covers finance, digital economy, government, retail, hospitality, construction, SMEs, and charities, with events delivered by the relevant G8 body.

‘Eight industry bodies, one shared ambition – to make sure no business, no employee and no community organisation in this island gets left behind by AI,’ said Alice Gill, executive director at the Chamber of Commerce.
‘The tools are here and the opportunity is very real. And frankly, we can’t afford to hesitate.
‘All-In exists because the G8 believes Guernsey’s greatest competitive advantage is its people and this autumn we’re giving every one of them the chance to get hands-on with AI, for free, in their own community.’
Target outcomes include upskilling 1,000 islanders in AI; engaging more than 50 organisations across every sector of the economy; demonstrating 50 real-world AI tools and uses; identifying hackathon ideas to be taken forward for further development; and establishing a lasting AI community of practice to maintain momentum.
