Symptoms of Legionnaires' Disease can include a high temperature or fever, a cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chest pain or discomfort, muscle aches, headache, and, in some cases, confusion, tiredness or flu-like symptoms.
Symptoms usually develop between two and 14 days after exposure.
Anyone who has used the showers at Beau Sejour in the last two weeks and develops symptoms should seek medical advice, and mention that they might have been exposed to Legionella.
The risk is higher among older adults, smokers, and people with weakened immune systems or underlying lung disease.
