Wily Hantuchova sees off Watson
THE 31st seed proved too big an obstacle for Heather Watson to overcome in the first round of the Australian Open today.

Experience proved to be the key as Daniela Hantuchova, a semi-finalist in Melbourne back in 2008, came through a lengthy three-set battle this morning 7-5, 3-6, 6-3.
It left Watson, who had come through three rounds of qualifying to reach the main draw, frustrated.
'I felt I was close throughout the match,' said the 21-year-old Sarnian.
