THEY have yet to ever be separated in three previous meetings, but Guernsey FC know only a first win at Folkestone Invicta will keep their slim Ryman South play-off hopes alive today.

Sat nine points back from the top-five and with as many games remaining, the Green Lions' run-in doesn't get any easier as they visit the side third in the table this lunchtime.

However, the GFC manager - who welcomes back Craig Young (pictured) - is hopeful his side can cause an upset and end a run of draws against Folkestone that has seen 1-1, 2-2 and 0-0 stalemates in the last 18 months.

'They are favourites, no question, because they are a very good team with a good set-up in a strong run of form and we have been a bit shaky in the last couple of games,' said Vance.
