Guernsey win Siam Cup for first time in a decade

GUERNSEY capped off a historic season this afternoon by regaining the Siam Cup for the first time in a decade.

The home side scored seven tries to Jersey's four as Raiders won 46-30 at a sunny and packed Footes Lane.

Man-of-the-match Ned Brown scored two tries, as did Dan Hill, while there was one apiece for Luke Sayer, Luke Jones and Anthony Armstrong with Sam Whitehead kicking the rest of the points.

On a memorable day for Guernsey rugby, they completed a clean sweep as the Guernsey Ladies won their Siam trophy for the seventh year in a row, 40-0, the Guernsey veterans won the Nash Cup and the Guernsey Seconds lifted the Fallaize Cup.
