Guernsey name squad for Junior Muratti
THE Guernsey under-18 squad who will attempt to regain the Junior Muratti trophy on Sunday has been announced.
The Sarnians, who have beaten their Jersey counterparts only twice in the last 10 years, most recently won the silverware with a 2-1 win at Northfield in 2016.
The squad managed by Colin Fallaize and assistant Dave Gilman have prepared for the annual clash by once again entering the Stranger Cup and they have reached the semi-finals of that competition for the first time by topping their group with four wins over senior opposition.
Kick off at Springfield is 2.30pm.
