A brace apiece from Dom Heaume and Cal Le Lacheur gave the visitors a 4-0 half-time lead.

Heaume completed another career hat-trick by netting a fifth and there was a superb chipped effort from Rangers’ Brad Foss before sub Fraser Maginnis rounded off the scoring.

Tomorrow, Saints travel to the Track to face Bels who suffered a 5-0 defeat against Sylvans at St Peter’s at the weekend with five different players on the scoresheet for the Westerners.

In Saturday’s other top-flight game, North also had five different scorers as they beat Manzur 5-1 at Northfield to move above Rovers into second in the table.

Saints have a six-point gap on the chasing pack with just two points covering the next three clubs.
