Having been set a target of 187 in their 40-over clash with Wanderers-Irregulars at the College Field, Adam Martel completed the job by smashing two fours followed by two sixes in the 30th over of the run chase as Tom Kirk’s men won by eight wickets.

Martel finished as his side’s top scorer with 88 not out from just 55 balls, hitting 13 fours and three sixes in total, while Nathan Le Tissier made it four half-centuries from five weekend innings with 64 at the top of the order.

Earlier, spinner Adeesha Yapa had claimed 4 for 40 as WIs were bowled out for 186, with Charlie Simmonds top-scoring with 54 at quicker than a run-a-ball.

In the preceding T20 contest, Josh Butler made an unbeaten 101 from 60 balls, including 10 fours and four sixes, to help Cobo post 197 for 3 in an 88-run victory over Elizabeth College.
