Having led 2-1 at half-time at home to St Martin’s before the visitors drew level with just under half-an-hour to go, the chocolate-and-blues snatched all three points with an injury-time winner from Jamie Smith, who had come off the bench at half-time, while another sub, Mason Prigent, played an integral role in the build-up to the goal.
That victory came just three days after North had required extra-time to overcome Sylvans and progress to the Jeremie Cup quarter-finals.

Le Prevost admitted that he was disappointed with his side’s showing with the wind at their backs in the first half against Saints, when they came from behind to lead thanks to goals from Keene Domaille and Kieran Mahon.
‘A game of two halves, really,’ he said.
‘First half we didn’t play very well at all, even with the conditions. Saints put a bit of pressure on in the second half, but we made some changes, probably to try and hurt them on the counter-attack a little bit more.
‘I think a draw maybe was a fair result, but we’ll take it.’
He added, though, that he had been ‘very worried about fatigue’ going into such a big game in tough conditions following their Jeremie Cup tie.
‘To be fair, maybe that was a little bit to blame for the first-half performance,’ Le Prevost said.
‘But some of the lads that came off the bench, during the week and today, they’ve made the difference for us.
‘So it has really been a squad game in the last week, or since the start of the season really.’
The North boss also revealed that he wants his side to be able to adapt to conditions, even if Saturday’s strong wind was verging on the extreme.
‘I think we’ve been guilty in the last, well for however long I’ve known them, that we probably constantly want to play out and hurt teams like that, but we have to be a bit more coy if we want to win titles.
‘So that’s what we’re trying to do a bit more this season.’
North return to action on Saturday when they host St Paul’s in the Jeremie Cup quarter-final, which will kick off at 1pm. St Martin’s will face St Clement at the same time at Blanche Pierre Lane.
Blair Howitt, meanwhile, came up with a late equaliser for Rovers in their 1-1 draw away to Sylvans on Saturday after Kyle Smith had given the hosts the lead. Nick Batiste had been sent off for Sylvans in the first half.
Rangers and Bels also drew 1-1 to earn their first point of the season. Zak Chatteron equalised for Bels after Henry Thomas had given Rangers the lead at KGV.
