Ben Hunter’s side overcame Priaulx League champions Northerners 3-2 on Monday evening in the first quarter-final of the pre-season competition hosted by Belgrave Wanderers at the Track.
After a goalless first-half, Rio Bowditch scored twice for Saints in the second half with Robbie Legg and Seb Mourant responding for North before a late penalty was converted by Louis Hunter to book the black-and-whites a place in the last four where they will face the winners of last night’s clash between Rovers and Sylvans.
The competition continues this evening with Bels taking on Vale Rec before Rangers face CF Independant in the last quarter-final tomorrow. Both games kick off at 7.45pm.
