Freddie Burtenshaw has lived with his 66-year-old grandmother, Michele Wilson, since he was born 19 years ago.

He said not only had she provided him with everything she possibly could, she had also done it on her own.

'She has been my mother and father for 19 years.

'Even though I'm technically an adult now, she still continues to do everything she can to give me the best life.

'She has been there for me financially and emotionally.

'Even when I made things tough for her, she was still there.

'My grandmother has never given up on me and I definitely think that makes her worthy of Grandparent/s of the Year.'
