It happened at around 11pm on Thursday 4 December in Smith Street, near the lower bar of the Prince of Wales.
A male was assaulted.
The suspect was a white male, around 6ft tall, wearing black jogger-style bottoms, a grey puffer jacket, white shoes and a dark coloured hat.
He can be seen in the video.
