About 100 boxes containing more than 1,000 items have been delivered to the charity shop so far, with all proceeds going to Les Bourgs.

‘We are excited about this partnership with New Look, and we hope it will attract a younger demographic to our shop,’ said Les Bourgs Hospice enterprises manager Catherine Boughay.

‘The items are now available in our charity shop and there are some fabulous clothing items ranging from teens to adult.

‘Our charity shop is a lifeline to some of the community and this is another way we can support them, as well as raising vital funds for the hospice to continue to offer care to patients with life-limiting disease and support their families.’

The shop currently has supplies of maternity clothing and swimwear and will display jewellery, shoes, bags and anything sold in New Look.

The items will be sold at Les Bourgs for approximately a quarter of New Look’s original selling price.

Everything will be branded as New Look and easy to spot in the charity shop.

Where any items fail to meet the standard for being sold, the shop will utilise them for textile waste, which also brings money into the hospice.

The charity is open to other businesses or retailers who would like to get involved with a similar initiative and asks them to get in touch.
