He is set to arrive with Queen Camilla this morning after a showery day in Jersey on Monday.

Their majesties are in for a day of local culture and heritage and meeting with local environment and biodiversity groups.

Once they have arrive, they will travel along Queen's Road, down the Grange and St Julian's Avenue and along the front to the Guernsey Information Centre.

Anyone who wishes to wait on this route should be in place by 10.30am on the pavements.

There will be temporary road closures while they travel to and from the seafront.

Outside the Information Centre, the King will preside over a special States meeting before unveiling a plaque on the Crown Pier.

They will walk down the pier to see demonstrations and stalls of Guernsey's heritage, local food and drinks, dabble in some traditional Guernsey dancing and meet members of La Societe and the Nature Commission.

The Spirit of Guernsey, Harold Hobbs and the Flying Christine will be moored alongside the pier.

There will be public viewing areas along the seafront from the Weighbridge roundabout to the Town Church, as well as up one side of the Crown Pier, including a designated area for wheelchair users.

Activities on the seafront begin at 10am and last until 4pm.

Celebrations at Cambridge park will also take place between 10am and 4pm.

The family event at Cambridge Park will include large screens live streaming the royal engagements happening in town.

There will also be children's entertainment and royal-themed activities.

During the afternoon, their majesties will drive past Cambridge Park en route to Les Cotils.

They will grant a royal title to the Golden Guernsey Goat and meet with delegates from Alderney and Sark.

The King and Queen will leave the island in the afternoon to travel back to the UK ahead of Wednesday’s State Opening of Parliament, which happens to fall on Queen Camilla's 77th birthday.
