Visitors to the bedazzled Bachmann family home can look forward to festive music, food and drink, the ‘enchanting elf trail’, and an appearance from Father Christmas.

The eye-catching light installations and displays will return following their success in 2024, supported by Four Seasons Garden Design & Maintenance, and Joys.

New to this year’s activity line-up is a meat draw, supported by Surf & Turf.

‘The Specsavers Winter Wonderland is a much-loved community event that marks the true start of Christmas for so many islanders. We’re delighted to be sponsoring it again in 2025 and can’t wait to see the joy it brings to families across Guernsey,’ said Specsavers co-founder Dame Mary Perkins.

Last year, the event raised more than £20,000 for the Lions Club of Guernsey and Autism Guernsey. All funds collected are set to be shared between the two charities again this year.

‘This event is a highlight of the island’s festive calendar, bringing people together to celebrate the spirit of the season while helping raise money for important local causes. We’re thrilled to be part of it once again,’ said the Lions Club’s John McLoughlin.

The event takes place on Wednesday 3 December from 6pm to 8.30pm at Les Ruettes Cottage, Les Issues, St Saviour’s.

Tickets for children aged 3 to 12 are £3 and adults are £7.

Tickets are available to buy from Stan Brouard, Earlswood Garden Centre, Creaseys in the Bordage and the Bridge, Woodies kiosks at Le Pollet and Bordeaux, St Peter’s Post Office and Forest Stores.

Specsavers will provide free shuttle buses to ease congestion around La Villiaze, with services running between the company’s car park and Le Rondin.
