The proposal for development at the Best Complex on Ruettes Brayes was made at the end of August.

It includes a mix of one- and two-bed flats across 28 properties, with a car parking space for each and bicycle parking.

The site currently contains a flooring business and a beauty salon, and was well-known as Best Foods for decades. All the current buildings on the site are set to be demolished.

Plans for the layout would have 16 flats fronting on to the main road with a separate building of 12 flats situated to the rear of the site.

There were minimal representations on the development application which was agreed by officers from the Development & Planning Authority.
