The ‘Ten Walks, Ten Weeks, Ten Parishes’ event focuses on a different parish each week for 10 weeks, with a shorter and a longer route on offer each time so walkers can pick the distance that suits them.
The first walk sets off from St Saviour’s Community Centre at 2pm on Sunday.
Those taking part will receive a passport, with details of the routes, which is stamped each time they complete a parish walk.
Anyone who finishes all 10 will be invited to a reception at Government House and presented with a certificate signed by WAG’s patron, Harvey Brink.
Janine Le Cras, who took part last year with her dog Robbie, said the walks had helped her discover new routes.
‘I usually tend to walk Robbie in the same area, but now I have a variety of routes to choose from,’ she said.
‘The walks are a great way for the dogs to socialise and for us humans to make new contacts too.’
The event raises money and awareness for the charity, whose therapy dogs visit the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, care and residential homes, day centres and schools to support people’s wellbeing across the island.
Passports cost £10 and are available from Isabelle Vets, Venture Garage, Trim Dog, RH Gaudion and at the first walk.

Walkers who cannot make a particular Sunday can complete that route another time before the final walk, taking a selfie with their dog outside the start venue for their passport.
