This year’s Muratti was one of the best

As A football fan, I thought this year’s Muratti was one of the best.

Visiting the new Victoria Park twice in a day, to see the ladies winning in the morning and returning to see the men triumph as well over Jersey. Victoria Park proved how successful it will be on this great occasion with a full house. There will be a few tweaks needed here and there but overall congratulations to all involved in the design of the stadium and I hope that better access can be secured in the future, maybe a new access road.

We should all be proud of the great footballers that Guernsey has produced and still is producing. Maya Le Tissier, captain of Manchester United and an England squad player, Alex Scott at Bournemouth and England U21s, Jack Griffin at Bristol City, Tim Ap Sion and Joe Adams.

GFC plays a great part in producing these players, giving them a chance to become professional, and we are sure the new investment at Victoria Park will play its part in the future.
