Title race still alive as Indies beat Colombians in a cracker

A DRAMATIC Men's Division One title race took another twist last night at Footes Lane.

Defending champions Investec Colombians had the chance to retain the crown with victory over their big rivals, but ABN Amro Indies twice hit back from a goal behind to claim a 3-2 win and three points that saw them move level with their opponents at the top of the table once more.

Both will complete their league campaigns with fixtures against Casuals and, should they match each other's result, a play-off will be required to decide the destination of the title.

The neutral will be hoping that this the case if last night's clash is anything to go by as it was an excellent advert for local hockey.
