Sharman names his Island Games squad

SCOTT BOUGOURD is the sole non-Guernsey FC regular named in the Sarnian men's football squad who will go for NatWest Island Games gold in Jersey this summer.

Guernsey coach Steve Sharman named his 20-man squad overnight and all of the Green Lions' big names are included, bar the unavailable Dave Rihoy.

Luke Winch and Nigel Hutton are two GFC regulars who have missed out, with Simon Geall preferred to Hutton as a right-back.

In total, 15 of the 20 were in the squad who won silver at the 2011 Games, the new faces being Jakub Machlowski, Tom de la Mare, Liam Mahon, Marc McGrath and Craig Young.
