Three contenders take their turn at the top of the table
THE tight-knit nature of the three-way Division One title race saw all the contenders top the table in the space of 24 hours at the weekend.
Blix Colombians led the way going into the latest round of matches, but with the yellows having a weekend off, champions ABN Amro Indies took their chance to leapfrog both their rivals with a Friday evening victory over Elizabeth College.
However, their stay at the head of affairs lasted little more than 22 hours as OSA Casuals jumped to the top of the pile with a comprehensive 7-0 victory over Saffery Champness Yobbos achieved despite the absence of Andy Whalley, Dusty Stevens and Nick Bachmann to name three.
Tomos ap Sion scored three of their goals, Morgan Harries chipped in with two and there was one apiece for Chris Lowin and Damian Wallen , both from short corners.
