Goals from Tash Symes and captain Izzy Whalley, one in either half, gave Indies Ladies a 2-0 win over Cubs, who had gone into their match level on points with their opposition at the top of the table.
Later in the afternoon at Footes Lane, TJ Ozanne gave Colombians a 1-0 half-time lead on a day when they would have been crowned champions had they won.
However, two brilliant penalty-corner drag flicks from Nairn Guilbert and a goal from Jack Smart saw Indies come from behind to claim a 3-1 victory.
