Ford Chip Ganassi Racing yesterday announced that they have retained their four full-season drivers – Priaulx, Harry Tincknell, Stefan Muecke and Olivier Pla – for the FIA World Endurance Championship ‘Super Season’. They will once again drive the pair of Ford GTs for the 2018-19 season, which gets under way at Spa-Francorchamps in May.
Ford’s new racing global director Mark Rushbrook recently said the GTE programme is confirmed only through the end of the 2018-19 season. This comes following the shift to a winter schedule as the programme was originally confirmed for four seasons to the end of 2019.
