Muratti squads announced ahead of Footes Lane double header
Guernsey's men's and women's squads have been named ahead of the return of senior Muratti football to the island next week after a gap of four years.
As expected, the bulk of Tony Vance's men's squad are drawn from Guernsey FC's ranks, with North captain River Marsh the only player among the 24-strong training group not to have made a Green Lions appearance this season.
New island women's manager Anna Gauvain, meanwhile, has named her final squad of 16 for what will be the first Women's Muratti played in Guernsey in eight years.
For the first time, both Close Finance Muratti finals are being staged on the same day at the same venue on Saturday 13 May, with the women kicking off at Footes Lane at 10.30am and the men at 3pm.

Guernsey's men will be looking to break Jersey's five-year grip on the Muratti Vase, having seen Martin Cassidy's side triumph in the last three editions - including last year when they won 1-0 at Springfield as the famous fixture made its post-pandemic return.
The women's clash also make its comeback in 2022, but after an even longer break of five years due to Guernsey's temporary withdrawal from the competition, with Jersey picking up where they left off to extend their winning streak to nine matches with a 5-0 victory.
Tickets for both games are available here.
