Playing their first competitive game of the new season, Guernsey fell behind in the second-half but fought back through Ross Allen to keep the extra-preliminary round tie alive.

It was the first FA Cup fixture to be staged at Guernsey’s new home of football, with the Green Lions’ move from Footes Lane the catalyst for re-entering this season.

The winners of Tuesday’s replay will host Kingstonian in the preliminary round on 16 August.

Guernsey are also in FA Vase action later this month, travelling to Bexhill United in a competition they famously reached the last four of early in their existence.

Tony Vance’s side are back in action on home soil against Wick next Saturday as they begin life in the Southern Combination Premier Division following relegation from the Isthmian League last term.
