They will head to Cyprus in May next year for their 10-team tournament, which also includes the hosts as well as Austria, Croatia, France, Malta, Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland, with just one nation progressing to the next round.
Both islands reached this year’s Europe Final for the 2026 edition of the World Cup having come through different qualifiers the previous summer, with Jersey winning their meeting in the Netherlands by 22 runs.
Although fixtures have yet to be confirmed, due to Jersey being the highest-ranked nation in Qualifier A at 27th in the world and Guernsey next best at 37th, they are set to be placed in separate groups in Cyprus. If that is the case, they could only meet in the play-off stage at the end of the week.
