Henry Marsh gave the Westerners the lead with a flighted free-kick just after the quarter-of-an-hour mark and Mason Jones doubled the lead before half-time as he got on the end of a peach of a ball across the six-yard box from Zac Batiste.

North reduced the deficit straight after half-time thanks to Jake Martin, who was set up by Mason Prigent, but Sylvans restored their two-goal cushion seven minutes later as Ben Jones found the top corner with a delicious finish.

They applied the coup de grace with 10 minutes remaining when Charlie Bird picked out Batiste with a pinpoint pass and he in turn found Mason Jones, who completed the scoring with his second of the night.
