Visiting academy sides from Hampshire and Surrey got first use of the KGV grass pitch as they met in a 40-over contest ahead of their involvement in a T20 triangular series with the Guernsey men’s team.

The visiting academies face each other today in back-to-back matches starting at 11am and 3pm.

The Island side, who are preparing for next month’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2028 Europe Qualifier that is due to be held in Cyprus, will enter the fray over the weekend, playing Hampshire at 11am on Saturday followed by Surrey at 3pm.

On Sunday, Guernsey take on Surrey at 10am and Hampshire at 2pm. All matches are at KGV.
