The Green Lions have been on the verge of securing a top-three finish in the Southern Combination Premier Division since thumping Forest Row 8-1 in their last home match, but a run of three successive defeats on the road have left them needing to beat second-from-bottom Lancing at Victoria Park to achieve their ambition.
Crucially, Jacques Cauvin, Ben Solway and Charlton Gauvain have recovered from their injuries to return to the ranks while GFC have their Junior Muratti contingent available once again, too, for a match that manager Tony Vance believes will be tougher than the league table suggests.

Lancing have won two of their last six, but one of those wins was against second-placed Haywards Heath Town.
‘When we played them away, they were very competitive. They are always in games, and our form isn’t great – we need to very sharply get back to the real us. That often comes when we’re at home.
‘We need to use that positive situation and turn it into a result, it’s as simple as that,’ Vance said, before adding that he hopes to see a big crowd.
‘It can be a game-changer and we want to seek any advantage we can get.
‘We want to see the ground full because it makes for a good atmosphere, which can help us, but we have to do our job too.’
Guernsey FC against Lancing kicks off at 2pm at Victoria Park.
