Krista De La Mare will captain the Island team at the tournament, which takes place from 25-31 August, as her side go up against the hosts as well as Turkey and the Czech Republic in Group A.
The other group contains Norway, Malta, Greece and the Isle of Man.
Following the successful launch of the Women’s Super League, the Guernsey squad has been selected from a season of competitive domestic cricket and now has the opportunity to test itself on the European stage, having tasted competitive action in last month’s inter-insular T20Is against Jersey at Grainville.
‘Representing Guernsey is a tremendous honour, and everyone at Guernsey Cricket wishes the squad and coaching staff every success as they prepare for the tournament,’ said chief operating officer Richard Headington.
‘A special thank you to Aspida, sponsors of the Guernsey senior women’s national team, whose continued support over the past three years has helped drive the growth, visibility and development of women’s and girls’ cricket in Guernsey.’
