Speculation is growing that there is interest from several other Premier League clubs in the Guernsey star, who was selected in his first England senior squad last season and was part of the Three Lions training camp ahead of the World Cup after helping Bournemouth to finish sixth in the top flight, securing them European football for the first time.
Scott, whose current contract has two years left to run, has been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City among others in recent weeks in the national media.
However, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, who specialises in football transfers, Bournemouth are desperate to keep the Sarnian, who is with their squad on their pre-season trip to Austria under new head coach Marco Rose.
The former St Martin’s youngster began his professional career at Bristol City, who he joined as a teenager from Guernsey FC, before moving to the top flight with the Cherries in 2023.
He has been a member of European Championship-winning England teams at both under-19 and under-21 level.
