Organisers from the Liberate group are inviting people from across the community to come together at Forest Methodist Church to remember nearly 300 people who lost their lives just this last year.
The vigil comes a day after Trans Day of Remembrance and follows the recent launch of Trans Guernsey, a new Liberate sub committee, to improve and develop knowledge surrounding issues that transgender people face.
Transgender people will speak and share their experiences during tomorrow's vigil.
One of the organisers Aearon Truffitt, 21, who is non-binary – where people identify themselves outside of gender binary – will be offering a message of unity, support and coming together as a community, towards the end of the event.
'Coming together and being a community, that in itself gives us strength,' they said.
The vigil is being held from 7pm to about 8.30pm, with people welcome to arrive from 6.30pm.
