From bi-planes to bombers...

STRONG winds might have stopped the Battle of Britain memorial flight, but islanders were wowed by an array of other aircraft taking part in yesterday’s Guernsey Air Display over St Peter Port.

Team Raven – a six-ship formation team – kicked off the display. There was also the Wildcat Aerobatics team, as well as the Global Stars team.

The Lancaster was the only one of the Battle of Britain team to make it over, doing a fly past down the east coast during the afternoon.
