A REVIEW of the income from services provided by the Joint Emergency Services Control Centre is to be undertaken by Home Affairs as part of its efforts to get the centre’s budget back on track.

Committee president Mary Lowe said this proposed review was part of a number of steps designed to help that process.

The signs are that there was an overspend last year but it will be less than the one in 2016.

Jescc overspent by £159,000 in 2016, which led to an improvement plan and internal audit last year. The audit made a number or recommendations and Deputy Lowe said work was under way to put some of these in place.
