WORK has been progressing well to install rock armour against L’Ancresse Bay’s anti-tank seawall.

The work started last week on the eight-week project, which will see the armour placed along several sections of the deteriorating structure in a bid to give it better additional protection.

This follows work last year to pour concrete to fill the voids in the structure.

Islanders are warned not to walk or climb over the wall or climb on the rock armour.
