The majority of the 38 Sarnian competitors as well as team officials left on a charter flight from Guernsey airport this morning and they will be joined by the rest of the team, such as squash professional Chris Simpson who lives in Yorkshire, in Scotland this week.
The Commonwealth Games opening ceremony takes place on Wednesday evening with competition starting the following day.
