Saints head coach Ben Hunter said his side does not fear North, who have won all seven of their Priaulx League games this season and have taken a comfortable seven-point lead at the top of the table.
St Martin’s have played one game less and currently sit third in the league on 12 points.
‘We’re excited, we gave them a good game last time we played them, and I think we were unfortunate not to take at least one point away from that one,’ said Hunter.
‘I don’t fear them and I think it will be another good even game.’
St Martin’s have not played in the Priaulx League since 1 November, and Hunter said his side were looking forward to a competitive match this afternoon.
‘We’ve worked hard to get the pitch ready, the last couple of games have been off due to the weather, so it will be good to have one on,’ he said.
This afternoon Saints will be without Max Johnson, but the squad will be boosted by Louis Hunter and Alex Ward who are both back in the island and available.
North are guaranteed to be top of the tree at Christmas, but they have the potential to move 13 points ahead of the chasing pack if they win today and their rearranged match with Rovers on Tuesday and other results go their way.
Elsewhere in the Priaulx League today there is a bottom-of-the-table clash as Bels host Rangers at the Track, while Rovers face Sylvans at Port Soif.
All three Priaulx League games kick off at 2pm.
