Le Tissier captains England U17s to victory in Moldova
GUERNSEY footballer Maya Le Tissier captained England Under-17s today as they started their Uefa Women's European U17 Championship qualifying campaign in style.

The 'Young Lionesses' defeated host nation Moldova 6-0 at the Zimbru Stadium thanks to a hat-trick from Melisa Filis and goals from Francesca Stables, Katie Robinson and Ruby Grant.
Next up for England is a match against Azerbaijan on Saturday, before their group stage concludes with a game against Iceland on Tuesday.
