The Lionesses will face Asian champions China at Wembley on Saturday 29 November and then take on Ghana at St Mary’s Stadium in Southampton on Tuesday 2 December. England beat China 6-1 in their run to the 2023 World Cup final while it will be their first meeting with Ghana.
‘With competitive fixtures in March, April and June 2026 these games against non-European opposition will give us some important learnings and development opportunities,’ said England manager Sarina Wiegman.
Le Tissier has started England’s last two internationals, beginning at right back in a defeat against Brazil last month before getting the chance to impress at her favoured centre-back position as the Lionesses beat Australia 3-0 in Derby.
Her ninth and 10th caps for England took her past Matt Le Tissier to become Guernsey’s most-capped international, and came just before step-brother Alex Scott earned his first senior national call-up.
She is back in Uefa Women’s Champions League action on Wednesday night as Manchester United, who have won their first three group-stage matches, travel to Germany to face Frauen-Bundesliga side Wolfsburg.
