The Green Lions now have a home play-off final to look forward to against Peacehaven on Sunday.
'It's different class here isn't it?' manager Tony Vance said speaking about the importance of a home play-off after the semi-final on Saturday.
'The noise here is amazing and when you score a goal, the roar. I don't think you can underestimate what that can do to the opposition.'
After a bright start to the game, GFC very much rode their luck throughout much of the first-half before going on to take control of the game in the second-half.
'I'm very proud of the players. I thought they were brilliant today, outstanding,' said Vance.
'I thought we started the game really strongly and probably should have been ahead, and then we wobbled a little bit, left ourselves too open – they're very direct, we knew how they'd play, and we weren't doing what we needed to do to sort of combat that threat, and perhaps they should have scored in that spell, to be fair.
'We were a little bit on the ropes, couldn't get control of the game, and then scored completely against run of play, but it was a goal that funnily enough, we'd worked on in terms of tactically, so it's nice that that came off. Then after that we just managed it completely and dominated them second half, to be fair, and deserved to win.'
Will Fazakerley was named man-of-the-match having scored the first two goals, with Matt Loaring bagging the third.
