The site that was formerly St Andrew’s Primary School has been redeveloped in to a place of support for islanders living with dyslexia.

It comprises three teaching rooms and a library which will be available for use by all current and former students.

The plaque was uncovered by businessman Guy Hands and his wife Julia, along with Lady Kathryn Corder, the charity’s patron.

Mike O’Hara, the co-founder of the charity, and its chairman, said it would not have been possible without the ‘wonderful generosity of the island’.
