The Pride of Guernsey Awards exist to recognise those people, so we say thanks to them, and I also would like to say thanks to those who nominated them for an award. The Pride awards only work if people are nominated – and so thanks to every single person who has put someone forward for an award. We do really appreciate it.
Please do get involved and let us have your votes – remember it is the public vote that can get a nominee on to the shortlist of the final three to be judged for the award.
Now all our nominations are confirmed, voting is open for the 2025 awards, online at prideofguernsey.gg, or by using the forms printed in Friday’s paper supplement and in the newspaper. We can only accept original forms, not photocopies.
To vote for your favourites online, head to the Pride of Guernsey website, select the relevant category and click through to the nominee page to find the voting option.
You can vote for as many people as you wish in as many of the 13 categories as you want, however you may cast just one vote per nominee.
All the nominees are featured in the supplement and they all appear on the Pride of Guernsey website.
Voting closes at midnight on Sunday 14 September, after which the three most popular nominees in each category will be revealed.
Judges will then select the final award winners, who will be announced at our awards ceremony at St Pierre Park Hotel on Saturday 18 October.
